we're actually getting out of this god-forsaken town. we started our climb to the top of the pit today. the kitchen is all packed up.

this is the most exciting thing that's happened to me in years. i feel alive again. like i've been holding my breath all this time and i just reached the surface. that first lung-full of air is the sweetest. that's what i'm tasting now. i can't wait to reach the shore.
