happy new years!

i stepped in a huge mud puddle that was completely covered over by leaves. things are always so much more exciting when you don't see them coming. i lost my shoe in the quicksand and didn't care. i didn't care because in the woods behind my grandmother's house, i stepped through a thick line of trees (into a mud puddle) to find a huge oval-shaped pond. things are always so much more exciting when you don't see them coming.
